Taking inspiration from the developments flamingo branding and colour palette, we incorporated novelty accessories and pink accents to reflect the quirky personality to help attract students with a welcoming environment.

Taking inspiration from the developments flamingo branding and colour palette, we incorporated novelty accessories and pink accents to reflect the quirky personality to help attract students with a welcoming environment.

Taking inspiration from the interior design and colour palette, The Waterways is a brand that embodies a fun, youthful, and exciting atmosphere that resonates with students. We wanted to play on the flamingo logo to symbolise the waterside location and incorporate popular pink tones and the quirky nature of the animal into the styling. To infuse this energy into our interior, we added vibrant cushions, memorable styling, and playful, personalised accessories that reflect the brand and biophilic design.

The city’s location alongside the nearby canals provides a fresh, tranquil, and relaxing environment for potential students. To create a sense of calm and cosiness in the bedrooms and leisure spaces, we have used soft colours that are inspired by the communal areas. Warm olive greens, fresh blues, and warm oranges are incorporated, as these colours are known to relax the mind, promote positivity, and create a safe space.
